I have received a number of inquiries about TrueScience skin cream recently. My husband shared his own testimonial with me today:

I have now been taking Protandim for four months. I had small fatty deposits under my skin in the ankle area. This was in the form of small dried pimples. They began vanishing after about six weeks and are now gone. All the men in our family over the past three generations have also had fat deposits in various parts of our bodies the size of dimes and quarters. In the past months these areas have shrunk and have gotten much smaller.
Three years ago I had a heart attack do to a build up of plaque in my arteries. I am not over weight , have a pretty good diet and work out on a regular basis. I also have inherited a poor gene pool which has passed on poor circulation and various heart problems. My hope is that any fatty deposits or plaque build up in my arteries is also shrinking. I'll keep everyone informed.
Thanks for your note, Don. It is a neat report. I'm wondering if you saw any noticeable differences from taking Protandim during your first weeks or month of use, or did you have to wait longer to see observable results? And, yes, please do keep us posted.

Dr. Carol's reply: I am not a medical physician and I cannot give you any medical advise --just my personal opinion and thoughts about my personal experience with Protandim.
Two things come to mind: 1) I asked my son to try Protandim. He is 21 and strong and healthy. He did not notice any effect on his health from the Protandim after using it for several days. I wondered if people who are already healthy may not see an improvement because they already feel fine.
2) There is quite a bit of research about what Protandim does inside your body. Before and after tests can measure changes inside the body. Here are 2 links about before and after tests. So it wouldn't be surprising if you and your Mom's before and after tests showed measurable changes. For me, though, I like to see a concrete benefit to my health from a product where I notice something observable in my health. Don't know if many people would go to the trouble of having tests run to see what Protandim is doing inside their bodies-- even if it is beneficial re anti-aging and oxidative stress at that level. I have been taking Protandim for almost 3 weeks now. I suffer from depression and anxiety and take prescription meds daily. Can you tell me if taking Protandim is safe for me? I haven't told my Dr because they will tell me to stop taking it. I honestly don't know if it is helping or not? Some days I feel better and other days, not so much. I want to continue taking it longer, but at the same time, I am afraid to. Any advice?
When you are dealing with a variety of health conditions, are taking meds, and are under a doctors care, it is best, I believe, to work with your doctor to help you monitor any "cocktail effect" (unanticipated consequences of mixing different things,) and to help you feel and be safe in what you are doing.
I saw on your website that you have samples, however I can't find a link. I would like to get a sample for me and 1 for my mom. I just am not sure about this yet and want to make sure that it would actually work for us before I make a commitment.

Thanks for your note. Sorry the link was not working.
The samples are not free samples, but Protandim pills that are bundled 2 per packet. The manufacturer produces them that way so people can buy a bundle of these sample packs and give them to friends to try. I myself do not give them away free, as the cost is $30 for 10 sample packets.
I just spoke by phone with a gentleman from San Francisco who takes Protandim. I asked him how it's going. He told me "IT'S GREAT. I have no more muscle pain!"
He is in his 40s, works in the service industry, and used to have burning sensations in muscles from climbing stairs and lifting loads everyday at work. Now he works all day without muscle pain -especially in his legs-, and he credits that to PROTANDIM.
What is interesting is that he gave me the same report several months ago!

I have been blessed with good health and strength, and people often ask me what products I use and what health disciplines I follow. I have put some of that information online. So Protandium is one of the products I personally use. Have not had time to write about other products I use yet, but of course I use whole foods, and some vitamins at times.
Sorry but you cannot order Protandim direct from the manufacturer from outside the US, except for Mexico. You could order from me if you care to, and I would ship it to you. You could order by VISA or PayPal. Where are you located, please?
I have a couple of questions if you don't mind answering.
I appreciated your postings regarding Protandim. In your last posting, you mentioned:

I do hope to being blogging about TrueScience when I have the time to observe the effects carefully and blog regularly about it. For now I just tried it once, and did see a rapid change on a skin blemish that I applied it to.

I heard about Protandim at a ladies-night-out event a couple of weeks ago; then met with the person who was marketing it last Saturday. I ordered 3 bottles (to give it a true test). They arrived yesterday and I have only taken one pill so far.
But in the meantime, I've been looking for any and all information I can find to 1) determine if I might 'really' notice anything either physically or mentally without testing my TBAR levels, and 2) if I want to take a step forward to market it. (This would be something I have NEVER done before, because I've never believed in anything enough to recommend it to others. So that would be a HUGE step for me. And I won't do anything else until I have a chance to test it for myself.)

I'm not sure what I'll do re: Protandim yet. I wanted to get further into the 3 months before I made a decision for going forward. Some other folks have youtube type-of-videos posted that supposedly help you learn how to market the product. It requests my name and email address, so I just haven't done it yet...
I did notice the comment blog toward the bottom of your pages. I'm really picky about posting reviews, blogs and what I put on facebook, so I haven't posted information yet. And I have never started a blog of my own, but that might be interesting to think about. You can feel free to blog about our conversation, without my email address mentioned.
